Episode 56: Night Chorus Under the Parade of Planets

Recorded on February 3, 2025, at the dogtrot on the sleeping porch, this is the sound of a late winter chorus of Southern Leopard Frogs on Heart Pond along tree crickets awakened by a spell of warm weather. Overhead, the Parade of Planets stretches across the sky while gentle south-southwest winds set the Cosanto Bell ringing, adding a soft, melodic touch to the night. Sounds Southern Extended listeners will hear the Canada Geese quietly honking as they bed down for the night. This recording is best appreciated in a quiet environment.
